This workshop for K-12 School Leaders will provide an introduction to artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in K-12 schools. Participants will learn the background of AI generative tools, the benefits and challenges of using AI in education, and get hands-on by creating examples that can be used immediately in their roles. We will discuss strategies for developing policy and establishing a vision for AI in school districts, and provide resources to guide your leadership.
Discover what it takes to bring drones into the classroom as a part of this hands-on workshop. To begin, we'll take to the skies as you learn to fly a drone manually as well as autonomously (via coding). You’ll then explore activities, curriculum, and tips for getting your students started on their first drone adventures.
