IT Summer Summit and Showcase

IT Summer Summit and Showcase

Online | June 15, 16, 17 | 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Splash into summer with several half-days of networking and professional learning for IT staff!

Join technology leaders, support staff, and colleagues in June for the LTC’s IT Summer Summit and Showcase. Session and workshop topics have been carefully to meet the needs of today’s education IT staff – including Google, Microsoft, cybersecurity, imaging, inventory, patching, backup, recovery, open-source solutions, firewalls, content filters, eSports, and more.

This is your opportunity to explore new tools and strategies needed to support and improve your district’s technology infrastructure. Best of all, you can get an early start on summer technology projects by networking with others who may be undertaking similar projects in their districts.

Detailed Schedule

What does it mean to attend a virtual conference?

We take virtual conferences seriously, and we have worked hard to create an engaging multi-day experience that allows attendees to learn and connect with colleagues from around the state. During the conference, you will attend multiple sessions with live presentations, talk with attendees and presenters through chat, and participate in live one-on-one networking during lunch. We’re looking forward to having you join us!

Have more questions? Here are our answers!

  • I registered and now what?

Registrants will receive information during the month of June and will not have access to the conference platform until the week of the conference. In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at events@ltcillinois.org.

  • Will sessions be recorded?

Yes! All sessions will be recorded and available for viewing for a limited time after the conference. Professional development hours will not be issues for watching recorded sessions.

  • Do I have to attend the whole conference?

Not at all! We know that attendees have busy schedules and invite you to attend for as long as possible. Recordings of sessions will also be made available the week following the conference.

  • How do I pay?

The Learning Technology Center, care of our fiscal agent Regional Office of Education #9, will invoice attendees or districts after the event. We unfortunately cannot accept credit cards at this time.

  • I don’t work at an Illinois public school. Can I still attend?

Absolutely! Sign up! If you don’t see your organization name on the registration form, send an email to events@ltcillinois.org.

  • I would like to someone to work specifically with my school districts on remote learning. What do I do?

We work with hundreds of districts each year to provide support and customized in-person and virtual professional learning. More information is available on the Customized In-District Professional Learning page, or you can contact one of our Regional Educational Technology Coordinators to schedule a consultation.

  • What is the Learning Technology Center?

The Learning Technology Center (LTC) is an Illinois State Board of Education program that supports all public K-12 districts, schools, and educators through technology initiatives, services, and professional learning opportunities. Learn more about the LTC, our mission, and our history on our “About Us” page.
