Let’s Get Google Certified! Google Level 2 Prep

Reserve your spot today in our upcoming Google Level 2 workshop! In this workshop, we will break down the Google Educator Level 2 exam into smaller components while preparing you to pass the Goole Level 2 Certification Exam. Each component will cover different Google apps, including Gmail, Slides, and Drawings; Scholar, Books, Google Arts, and Culture; Earth and Maps; Sites and Blogger; YouTube and Classroom; Keep and Trends.
Level 2 certification indicates that an educator is able to successfully integrate a wider range of Google for Education tools and other technologies in order to transform teaching practices. Educators who pass the certification test (not included) will be able to advertise their status with a personal certificate and badge. Certification lasts 36 months. Participants should bring a Chromebook or laptop to the workshop.
Lisa Schwartz is the Regional Educational Technology Coordinator in central Illinois for the Learning Technology Center. Prior to joining the LTC, she was an educator in Quincy Public Schools. Lisa is passionate about meaningful professional development and creating teacher and student leaders. She facilitates professional learning events regionally and statewide; provides consultation and support to school districts related to digital learning and technology integration; and develops instructional materials for school administrators, teachers, and students throughout the region and the state. She is a certified teacher, a Google for Education Certified Trainer, a Google Certified Educator, and an Apple Education Trainer. She holds a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Quincy University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Western Illinois University.
