Google Level 1 Certification Test Training

Reserve your spot today for a Google Level 1 Certification workshop. This workshop will prepare participants to take the Google Educator Level 1 certification exam. Level 1 certification indicates a fundamental understanding of using Google Tools in the classroom and confirms standard technology implementation skills. This workshop is designed for teachers that have a solid base of implementing the Google tools in their classroom and is not designed as an introduction to the Google tools. Participants will learn Google tips and tricks along the way and be able to practice the skills in their own digital life and with their students. Educators who pass the certification test will be able to advertise their status with a personalized certificate and badge. Certification lasts 36 months.
Participants are recommended to bring two devices to the workshop.

Holly Kelly is a Regional Educational Technology Coordinator for the Learning Technology Center, serving the east central region. She facilitates professional learning opportunities for educators, administrators, and technology staff that support digital teaching and learning. Holly also provides onsite and remote workshops and networking events at an ROE or a school district, including Professional Development workshops for in-service days.
Holly is passionate about helping educators feel more confident, creative in their instruction, and motivated and excited to use technology with their students. Holly is a 15-year veteran of the education field, which has included stints as a secondary-level English teacher and a high school library media specialist. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College in Providence, RI, a master’s degree from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL, and certified teacher and counselor credentials. She holds further professional certifications, including as a Google for Education Certified Trainer and a Google Certified Educator.
