As drones continue to grow in both popularity and functionality, businesses are rapidly adopting the many uses of unmanned aerial vehicles. As educators prepare our students for the changing workforce economy, adding drones to curriculum is a forward-thinking idea. Drones in the classroom can provide an engaging opportunity to teach our students real-world skills. The workshop will be a hands-on experience as participants explore the set-up and operation of a drone. We will also explore ways that participants can bring drones into their own classrooms.
PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN ABOUT:
- An introduction to drone terminology
- Safety issues
- Legal concerns and requirements
- Drone options
