Growing a Culture for Effective Technology Coaching: The Principal-Coach Partnership

Technology coaches provide the job-embedded, ongoing professional learning that helps educators achieve high-quality technology integration. A strong partnership between technology coaches and principals is critical to ensuring coaching – and integration – success. This six-week online session will strengthen the coach/principal partnership through the exploration of topics related to effective technology coaching, and through focused conversations between the coach and principal.

During each weekly module, you will be provided with short readings which will inform a conversation between the coach and the principal. You will also participate in a weekly “slow chat Tweet” and develop a document to help guide your coaching practices and program. There will be three 60-minute, interactive online sessions during the course. The course is designed to be a joint learning experience between the principal and technology coach, but it can be taken by the administrator or coach alone.

Module 5 – Shared Responsibility and Accountability April 11-17

Module 6 – Culture for Coaching April 18-24

Meeting 3 – Online Monday, April 24 – 3:30-4:30

AA Dissemination document due April 9
