K-12 IT Digital Summit

The LTC has partnered with DM for Education to host this unique event, bringing together K-12 IT Staff, Tech Directors, Tech Coordinators, and many others for a full day of virtual presentations and conversations. The event consists of a live keynote to kick-off the day, followed by live breakout sessions. Each breakout session will be recorded and available again twice throughout the day, allowing participants to attend all sessions. Breakout presenters will be available for questions via chat during the recorded sessions. Grab your lunch and hang out in the Virtual Lounge for a lunch chat with fellow participants.

Keynote: “From Classroom to Server Room”

Lance Lennon has been in education for 20 + years, the last 18 have been as a technology director and technology integrationist. He is a Certified Casper Administrator, a DEN Star Educator, an Apple Teacher, a Google Certified Trainer, Google Certified Administrator, and a Google Level 1 and 2 Certified Educator. His district has been using Google Apps for Education for the past six and a half years. Lance is a Google proponent and all around Google enthusiast.

 

Karl Hehr has been an educator for more than 16 years. He is an outspoken advocate for change in education. Karl is a leader in educational technology and is active in numerous advocacy groups and panels. Currently, Karl is the Technology director for Ames Community Schools, a founding member of the GSFE Admins podcast and an active presenter at conferences. From Ames, Iowa to Dahran, Saudi Arabia, Karl has had the opportunity to present on GSFE topics and the importance of technology-infused instruction. Karl is a Certified Casper Administrator, a Discovery Education STAR Educator, A Google Certified Trainer, a Google Certified Administrator, and general pot-stirrer.
