Let’s Get Google Certified! Google Level 2 Prep

The Level 2 Certification workshop will prepare participants to take the Google Educator Level 2 certification exam.

The Google for Education site states: Level 2 status indicates that an educator is able to successfully integrate a wider range of Google for Education tools and other technologies in order to transform their teaching practice. Participants will have time to build content and share with other attendees. Participants will receive a voucher to take the Google Level 2 Exam for free. Participants should bring a Chromebook or laptop and a mouse to this workshop.

Get Started with Google for Administrative Assistants

Event Description

Does your school use Google? This workshop is for your administrative assistants.
In this workshop, we will explore how administrative assistants can get the most out of Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Calendar in relation to their specific roles within a school. This will be a hands-on workshop designed for participants to learn and practice the skills needed to become proficient with the Google tools. Participants should bring a laptop or Chromebook to the workshop and a USB mouse is also encouraged.

Google Slides, Gmail and Calendar

Event Description

Participants will learn new features of Google Slides and learn about all of the Gmail settings that will help them be more efficient with Gmail. Participants will also learn about features in Calendar like the appointment slots.

Google Forms, Sheets and Screencastify

Event Description

Participants will learn about the ins and out of Google Forms and how they can turn it into a quiz. They will also learn about Google Sheets and how they can manipulate sheets to separate data. And finally, participants will learn how to use Screencasitfy to record their screen.

Event Description

Participants will learn the organization of Google Drive and Tips and Tricks with Google Docs. We will also look at the features of Hangouts Meet and some extensions that you can use during this time of remote learning.
