Introduction to Google Forms, Meet and Classroom

Event Description

In this workshop, participants will explore the basic functions and features of Google Classroom and learn how to assign class material and activities. Participants will also learn features available to hold a Google Meet with students and learn about the ins and out of Google Forms and how they can turn it into a quiz. If you have access to two devices that may help you during the workshop, but it is not necessary.

Lisa Schwartz, Regional Educational Technology Coordinator. Lisa facilitates professional learning events regionally, provides consultation and support to school districts related to digital learning, technology integration, and develops instructional materials for educators throughout the central Illinois region. Prior to joining the LTC, Lisa was an educator for 19 years in the Quincy Public School district. She is currently serving as the Western Illinois Computing Educator Chapter President and served on the Illinois Computing Educators governing board of directors.

Joe is a veteran educator in both K-12 and higher education in the areas of science and technology and is a frequent presenter on instructional and educational technology. He is a certified teacher, a certified school administrator, and certified Google Educator. Before his role as Regional Coordinator, Joe was a science/technology teacher, university instructor, and building-level technology coordinator.
