Presenter Biography
Nick has been a principal and superintendent for the last 9 years at various districts in Illinois with varying demographics. His dissertation research focused on exploring the correlational relationship between instructional strategies and school climate. The initial premise was to determine which teaching approaches were synonymous with not only student achievement, but also a positive culture for staff and students. This work has driven the district level professional development plans that he has created. Nick’s expertise is in leading and coaching the implementation of teacher professional development that is objectively driven by data, assessed through SMART goals, and universally applicable through the lens of instruction.
