Presenter Biography

Chad LeDune has taught science, STEM, and CTE at the middle/high school level for 16 years. Chad also coached STEM clubs such as Science Olympiad for 8 years, Science Bowl for 5 years, Technology Student Association, and Robotics Club for middle school and high school. Thanks to a recent $25,000 grant, he currently is implementing relevant, community related STEM lessons and technology into grades K-12 in my school corporation. In 2014, Chad was one of 25 teachers asked by the state of Indiana to be on a STEM curriculum writing team for the Indiana Migrant Education Program. Since that time, Chad has had the pleasure to present at over 30 conferences around the state of Indiana. Chad was the 2018 Indiana Connected Educator Outstanding Leader Award winner. He is a Google Level 2 Certified Educator, and areas of expertise include blending meaningful technology into my classroom, STEM education, energizing students through project based learning, providing relevant and meaningful professional development.

Chad is a frequent presenter, and recent engagements include AdvancEd, ICE, HECC, Purdue 2018 Educator STEM Conference, Matt Miller’s Ditch that Conference, and Spotlight Speaker for Zhejiang Provincial DOE 2018. He was recently part of a team that brought STEM curriculum to Hangzhou city in China during the summer of 2018 and continue to provide professional development for teachers in China through “Haiyin STEM Expert Talks Classroom with Chad”. Chad is also the founder of Wabash Valley Maker’s Fest which is a STEM conference for students and educators in my area of the state.
