D428 SOPPA Workflow

Summary of how D428 handles SOPPA request and agreements. What we do on the backend to prevent students from signing into a declined application and how to use Google Admin to block and allow third party APIs.

Presenter Bio

David Pham is a system analyst who helps staff and students resolve technology issues within the classroom along with dealing with SOPPA NDPAs. David has worked in education IT for around 5 years as a system analyst. During his career he has revamped the district website, created workflows, managed audio/video projects, and established a better social media presence for the district.

Bryan Tallistch has worked in education IT for around 8 years in various roles. He is currently seated as a Systems Analyst managing a variety of different systems including asset management, user directories, ticket management, and others. He has spent the bulk of his tenure creating, refining, and teaching technology workflows for his district. Bryan has submitted dozens of DPAs for SOPPA and can guide others to do the same.
