Through the recently-passed SB2374, the Illinois legislature has set aside $3 million to support the development and enhancement of computer science programs in K-12 schools.
These funds will be distributed by ISBE via a competitive grant program that requires districts to outline how they plan to meet Illinois’ new computer science teaching standards.
